Nuclear power

Over the last 15 years, ROSATOM has built 11 new nuclear power units in the Russian Federation and eight power units abroad. Today, the portfolio of orders includes agreements for construction of 34 power units. The projects in Bangladesh, Belarus, Hungary, Egypt, India, Iran, China, and Turkey are under construction. This is exactly what allows ROSATOM to hold firmly the position of the world leader in terms of number of NPP power units and to occupy 70% of the global NPP construction market.

Mechanical Engineering Division

The Mechanical Engineering Division brought together the largest power mechanical engineering companies, as well as manufacturing, research and engineering organizations in Russia, CIS countries and Europe. The Division controls production of high-tech equipment for industrial facilities of the fuel and power sector, heat and power stations, nuclear power plants, gas and petrochemical industries, and shipbuilding. The Atomenergomash JSC (Nuclear and Power Engineering, Joint-Stock Company) was established in 2006.

CDBMB
The Central Design Bureau of Machine Building, JSC was established in 1945. Currently, it develops pumping and remote-controlled equipment for NPPs.
Afrikantov OKBM
The Afrikantov OKBM, JSC was founded in 1945. Its core business is power engineering.
ARAKO spol. s r.o.
The company manufactures pipeline valves for power, chemical, and petrochemical industries.
OKB Gidropress
The Gidropress Experimental Design Bureau, JSC was founded in 1946. The company develops NPP nuclear reactors of different types and sizes.
SCERI
The Sverdlovsk Chemical Engineering Research Institute, JSC was established in 1942. It develops and manufactures non-standard highly mechanized equipment for nuclear fuel cycle facilities.

CNIITMASH
The Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, Research and Production Association, Joint-Stock Company was founded in 1929. It studies issues of new materials generation and advanced processes in the equipment manufacturing.
AEM-Technologies
AEM-Technologies Engineering Company, JSC was established in 2007. The company supplies "nuclear island" power equipment for NPPs located in Russia and other countries.

The Turbine Technologies AAEM, LLC was established in 2007. The main business activity is equipment supply for NPP turbine halls in Russia and abroad.
